Wild weekend

Oh Lets just say this weekend was anything but typical.  We had the NASCAR Championships on the main land in Homestead so attracted a huge crowd. Then two of my friends had birthdays this weekend.  Ariel and Katie which they celebrated in style.  We started off with dinner at Margaritaville oh did I say we had 20 people in our party.  From there when to Green Parrot on Southard Street and watched Experimentos play. They are a great Cumbia, Latin, Jazz, Funk fusion band that can pack them in. So many shots 4 friends and 3 hours later.  We make our way to rumors on Greene Street to meet up with 6 more friends and a dance off lol.  So some time later made our way to Durty Harrys on Duval Street to hear the Dirt Bags play.  Now we are 30 friends and its 4 am I had to call it quits and go home.  Although it was a great time  and love you all.

Monday in Key West

Today has been good after a busy weekend.  We saw the ending of the International Speed Boat Races to Sunday's Veteran Day Parade.  All in all really good weekend.  I hope everyone has had a great weekend where ever they are.  Just one question when are you coming to Key West??  Also if want to know anything about Key West just ask will be happy to answer.

Rants:
People why can't some people just respect others for whatever the reason?  we are coming up on the Holidays and should reflect we all can make a difference.

Let's if in Key West highly suggest you go to old Fort Zack or down by the pier to view the boat races. Also downtown should really start happening tonight around 10 pm a must see if in town.  All the bars on Duval Street will have live music or DJ's.

Rants:
The city needs to get off their asses and and figure out a way to renew their lease on the piers from the Navy.  We need the revenue cruise ships bring to this island.  Also how hard is it to let the new brewery bar have this license and blessing from the city its been way to long..  City Council you need to wake up.

Day After the Elections

I have to say my President won and couldn't be happier right now.  Last night after voting when out and celebrated with the kids at our local hangout on the water.  Hurricane Hole is a great family dining place right on the water.  I let the kids play while had a couple of shots and a beer myself.

Rants:
This election was the hardest one yet with the open lying and false statements...  I am thankful that we as a people did not get fooled and can see through the BULLSHIT.

TUESDAY ELECTION DAY!!!

It's Tuesday here in Key West all I have to say is today is Election Day and World Speed Boat Championships as well.  So everyone get out and vote and do not get out of line stay in line while voting.  Also get out and watch the Boat Races always fun.

I have to say the GOP must really think we are stupid...  I hope no one believes all the lies?

Parrot Head weekend is over yeah....

If you didn't know Parrot Head Convention ended this past Sunday.  With the parade of speed boats on Duval Street at 4pm.  So this week is the World Championship Speed Boat Races.  Everyone here has a great time.  So I am leaving you a video today of the Parrot Heads saying goodbye.

Parrot Heads

Hey Jimmy Buffet fans it is that time of the year again yes Meeting of the Minds in Key West Florida.  I have attached a video of the official opening night and hope you enjoy.  It was standing room only and was it crazy.  I have to ask one thing please be respectful of others..  If someone is sitting down having dinner and eating bothering  no one.  Then a couple walks right next to the table standing over the them and spilling their drinks.  After which did not expect the person sitting to get up and move you back.  Then to the couple you guys are disrespectful and idiots!!  I do not know how some people now days functions in society with out the homicide rate going up.
